Scarlett Photography and Digital Imaging is located in Belleville, Illinois.  We service the entire Saint Louis, Missouri and Metro East area including Alton, Freeburg, Columbia, Fairview Heights and O’Fallon Missouri and Illinois, Florissant, St Charles, South County and South City, Fenton and just about anywhere in between.  We specialize in children, infants, High School Seniors, couples and engagement portraits and wedding photos.  We can also be commissioned to for fine art and commercial photography.

Scarlett Photography and Digital Imaging was founded by Alexander O’Neal in February 2009 as an alternative so the numerous and often over priced generally inexperienced private photographers.  It is a  apparent that most of the St Louis Area’s private photographers either lack the experience or the skill  to truly satisfy a clients needs and provide consistent, quality results.  Scarlett Photography and Digital Imaging’s goal is to provide fair pricing, quality results and excellent service to its clients while keeping ahead of new technology and software.  Ultimately we hope to become the premier private photographer in the modern digital formats while providing affordable prices to everyone.

About Alexander O’Neal

I am the owner, operator and principle photographer of Scarlett Photography and Digital Imaging.  I have been involved in photography for so long is it hard for my to quantify my experience, but I would say that my “formal” training started when I was about ten years old when i received my first 110 film camera as a Christmas gift.  I have been working as a freelance photographer for at least the last 10 years, shooting whatever I could whenever I could.   In that time I also worked in retail, as a business consultant, as a computer technician and as an amateur film maker.  I spent several years researching the local photography offerings and decided that now, despite the turbulent market, was clearly the best time to enter the world of private photography.  I hope to provide quality photography to Saint Louis and the Metro East for years to come.
